ArcGIS Server 10.9.1 provides a fully localized installation experience. Language-specific resources are installed via language packs that are automatically installed by the ArcGIS Server installation process. For example, if you install ArcGIS Server Spanish, the Spanish language pack is automatically installed. Additional language packs must be installed separately.
Note:
While the ArcGIS Server setup automatically installs language packs, you must account for each uninstallation process separately. The ArcGIS Server uninstallation process does not uninstall language packs.
ArcGIS Server supports the following languages:
- Arabic
- Simplified Chinese
- French
- German
- Italian
- Japanese
- Brazilian Portuguese
- Russian
- Spanish
- Turkish
Uninstall language packs
ArcGIS Server language packs must be uninstalled separately. The ArcGIS Server uninstallation process does not remove ArcGIS Server language packs. For more information, see Uninstalling ArcGIS Server.
Upgrade a localized setup
Running setup.exe for a localized 10.9.1 setup will upgrade both the main product installation and the language pack installation.
If you have a localized version of ArcGIS Server installed and run the upgrade for the English 10.9.1 setup, only the ArcGIS Server installation will be upgraded. The language pack will be retained in the original installation location and will not be functional. When the 10.9.1 language pack is available, run its setup to upgrade the language pack.
If ArcGIS Server 10.9.1 exists, running setup.exe for a localized installation will display the maintenance dialog box for ArcGIS Server. Cancel this setup to continue with the language pack installation.
